2007

I know, I'm guilty of abandoning this blog for almost 3 months. Well, the situation is hard. Since my last posting here, there are 4 film festivals (3 in Jakarta, 1 in Jogja) I've attended or be part of actively. Also, there are filmmaker guests from Germany and USA whom I have a connection regarding their visit here. I'm also trying to finish a documentary and organizing an exhibition of German-Indonesian short animation this January. All these only in 3 months.

But anyway, I'm here now.

I am trying to gain my quality life this year 2007, hopefully I could somehow make it. I would like to read more books and have a quiet moment regularly. But these last few weeks or the first few weeks of 2007 I found out how impossible that is. So I feel like being drawn into this hopeless situation, between getting what I want and actually doing what I can in living my life. Maybe all those expectations you made at the end of the year for the next up coming year, is only for you to survive your plain (sometimes boring) life. And it's just the way it is.

Well, I will survive for sure :)
